At some point after his success at claiming the War World's Crystal Key, Deathstroke was captured by the Team and replaced by Miss Martian, who worked with Tigress (Artemis Crock) and Kaldur'ahm to secure Santa Prisca for the Light and the Reaches summit. In her guise as Deathstroke she also smuggled the Team into the ranks of The League of Shadows, all whilst staying completely undetected by the Light."Summit"
Ensuring the the make-shift summit chamber was not compromised, "Deathstroke" nodded to Black Beetle in mutual agreement that the summit could proceed as scheduled, stepping aside to let the Light's diplomats past. He silently removed his mask, following the direct instructions of Beetle, remaining on standby as tense words were exchanged between the two supposed allies.
Witnessing Black Beetle strike Black Manta and send him crashing to the ground, "Deathstroke" and Tigress attacked the Reach warrior, using his bostaff to electrocute his opponent and cause him temporary pain.
Upon the discovery of Tigress' true identity and Kaldur's betrayal, "Deathstroke" shot them both, as the Light "took care of their own". This action seemingly killing them and activating Aqualad's failsafe programme, revealing the truth behind the Light's sabotage of The Reach's operations. Vandal Savage demanded that he stop the hologram from running, however he questioned his employer how he was supposed to do that.Miss Martian finally revealed herself, using her telekenesis to hold Deathstroke's sword to Vandal's throat and explained that she only temporarily "killed" her best friends, using "Hollywood special effects" to make it look believable.
