Anti-Titan Plant Spores - Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009)

A natural plant that grows in the old cave systems beneath Arkham Island, the mould that was produced within these saplings were capable of reversing all effects that the Titan strain had on a human host, as well as curing them from any negative impact the chemical would have on them.

"Batman: Arkham Asylum"

After confronting Poison Ivy about a cure for the Titan formula, Ivy admitted to Batman (under the influence of blackmail) that there was a plant that had been growing deep beneath Arkham Island that's spores could be used to reverse the effects of the formula. Upon further pushing he discovered that it was thriving in a network of abandoned sewer tunnels that had come to become Killer Croc's lair.

Reaching the mouth of the lair, Batman set up a scanner and sonar beacon on a nearby water pipe, tuning it to detect trace elements of the spores and lead him directly to them. Tracking them down through the labyrinth (at various distances from the entrance), Batman harvested five individual samples, each time gathering more and

more of the anti-venom mould needed for full synthesises of an antidote.

Completing the task, Batman escaped from the Lair and returned to the Batcave, setting up the Batcomputer to create an compound to counter the effect of the Titan strain. However the process was more complicated than he had anticipated it to be, commenting to Oracle that the mould he had collected did not produce much. He goes on to tell her that the spores will definitely stop Poison Ivy, commanding the Batcomputer to run further tests to determine whether it was possible to reverse the effects of the Titan. Setting up a programme to create more of the antidote, Batman had just finished the first batch when Ivy's vines destroy the temporary Batcave. Her destruction of the cave ensured only one sample of the anti-venom could be manufactured, with Batman 94% certain that the compound will actually work.
