Titan Anti-Venom (Batman: Arkham Asylum)

A chemical compound extracted from a rare species of plant mould growing in the sewer systems of Arkham Island, the Titan Anti-Venom was developed by Batman to stop Poison Ivy's plants from taking over Arkham (as well as neighbouring Gotham as her plants reached the river).

Using various computer programmes within his temporary Batcave, Batman manufactured a single vial of the cure, running tests to see whether the formula would inverse the effects of the Titan chemical. He also set the computer to reverse engineer the compound, however was unable to produce any more after Poison Ivy's plants destroyed most of the Batcave, as well as the Batcomputer – cancelling the programme with 6% left.

Having been infected by the Titan disease (intended for Commissioner Gordon), Batman decided he would cure himself rather than let himself succumb to its effects, planning to find a different way to defeat the Joker, also on Titan. Joker laughed at his actions, observing that he found it funny, however still added that he would kill Batman for ruining his plans.

Poison Ivy's Plant Spores (Batman: Arkham Asylum)

Special spores created by Poison Ivy to use in her one woman war against mankind, these spores were lethal to humans in large dosages, while only small dosages could cause a great deal of pain.

A year before the Joker's riot on Arkham Asylum, Poison Ivy used spores against Gotham City, however was defeated by Batman. He remembered that the spores had been deadly, killing an unspecified number.

On the night of her exposure to the Titan formula, Ivy was able to accelerate the growth of similar spores and weaponised them into plant pods, using them to take over Arkham Island for herself. These spores were responsible for killing many of the prisoners roaming around the island, forcing Batman to destroy the plants and ensure the island could fully operate once the Joker, Ivy and the other inmates had been taken back into custody.

Poison Ivy's Plant Pods (Batman Arkham Asylum)

A product of Poison Ivy's increased control over plant life (due to her being infected by three dosages of the Titan strain), the pods grew all over the surface of Arkham Island, as well as in its network of tunnels underground.

They had mutated to the point that they could detect movement from people and produce powerful spores that could severely hurt human life, in some cases killing them if they had enough direct exposure. These spores had been used by Poison Ivy the year before in a failed attack on Gotham City.

These plants had a direct link to Ivy and were powered and sustained by her. Over the course of the evening she was weakened and endured by Batman's assaults on the plant, only further strengthening her hatred for him.

Over the course of the night and morning of Joker's prison riot, Batman managed to destroy the pods and prevent from them from impeding the recovery of the Asylum once the Joker and the other prisoners were contained.

The First Plant Pod (Batman: Arkham Asylum)

One of Poison Ivy's mutated plant pods, these plants released deadly spores into the atmosphere that could sense movement and lock onto targets, firing with enough force and a quick acting toxin that could kill upon impact with a human.

It was the first of these plants that Batman had ever come across during his attempt to locate the anti-titan plant spores beneath Arkham and stop Joker from producing enough Titan to create his desired army of monsters.

The original plant pod that Batman spotted upon leaving the Botanical Garden, the Dark Knight observed the effect that Titan had on Poison Ivy's control over the biological and molecular structure of plants, noting that these plants had mutated to protect themselves from harm.

When the plant was touched by one of the more unstable inmates of the Asylum, the pod released three concentrated spores that killed him upon impact with his body. Batman mused that the plant spores were similar to the ones used by Poison Ivy the previous year in an attack on Gotham City.

Ensuring that he moved slowly enough not to trigger the plant to sense him coming, Batman destroyed the pod, tearing it open and scattering the digestive enzymes everywhere.
