The First Plant Pod (Batman: Arkham Asylum)

One of Poison Ivy's mutated plant pods, these plants released deadly spores into the atmosphere that could sense movement and lock onto targets, firing with enough force and a quick acting toxin that could kill upon impact with a human.

It was the first of these plants that Batman had ever come across during his attempt to locate the anti-titan plant spores beneath Arkham and stop Joker from producing enough Titan to create his desired army of monsters. 

'Batman: Arkham Asylum' 

The original plant pod that Batman spotted upon leaving the Botanical Garden, the Dark Knight observed the effect that Titan had on Poison Ivy's control over the biological and molecular structure of plants, noting that these plants had mutated to protect themselves from harm.

When the plant was touched by one of the more unstable inmates of the Asylum, the pod released three concentrated spores that killed him upon impact with his body. Batman mused that the plant spores were similar to the ones used by Poison Ivy the previous year in an attack on Gotham City.

Ensuring that he moved slowly enough not to trigger the plant to sense him coming, Batman destroyed the pod, tearing it open and scattering the digestive enzymes everywhere.
