Anthony Lund - Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)

Born with "minor ear agenesis", Anthony Lund was formerly married to a woman called Ophelia, but there marriage did not last, resulting in them splitting up. He was a sufferer of alcoholism, which was believed to have been caused by the divorce, seeking medical help for the condition.

In some unknown circumstance, Lund ingested the ring, which got lodged in his lower intestine. Whilst at some point close to the time of his kidnapping, Lund needed a hip replacement, successfully getting it completed.

Interested in attending The Circus of Strange in Albuquerque New Mexico, Anthony Lund was kidnapped by the ringmaster Lazlo Valentin and rounded up with at least five other kidnapped men and women.

Brought back to his operating theatre in the Pretty Dolls Parlour - located in Gotham City - Lund forcibly underwent agonising and traumatic surgery; with his kidnapper removing his sexual organs, burning his finger prints off with acid and grafting a doll's mask to his face. Realising however that he could not do anything more to make him into a uniform member of the Dollotrons, Pyg killed Lund with an overdose of painkillers, causing him to have cardiac arrest.

His body was discarded, left to be found much later by the police and the vigilante Batman.

"Batman: Arkham Knight"

Shortly before the emergency evacuation of Gotham City on the thirty first of October, members of the G.C.P.D came across the dead corpse of Anthony Lund strung up on Merchant's Bridge with the word "flawed" painted on the ground at his feet with white spray paint. Nearby was also a speaker playing loud opra music on a loop, which became part of Professor Pyg's calling card. Due to short notice of Scarecrow's chemical bomb threat, they did not have time to make serious investigations of the crime scene, however those present on the scene found it all disturbing.

Having agreed to take on the case, Batman went to the crime scene himself, learning of Lund's location from Aaron Cash at the G.C.P.D Building. Arriving at bridge, Batman extracted a sample of the corpse's blood, to determine how Lund had died.

Due to various techniques used during the conversion process, Lund's DNA was unable to be cross-referenced by the G.C.P.D, leading Batman to use the Deep Tissue Scanner function within his cowl to determine the identity through birth and medical records.

Coming across scar tissue from a recent hip replacement, a wedding ring in his lower intestine to a woman called Ophelia, and a minor birth defect on his left ear, the Dark Knight successfully narrowed down Lund's record on the Missing Person Database.

The First Dollotron - Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)

One of Professor Pyg's Dollotrons, they were once an unnamed person who was kidnapped by Pyg and the Circus of Strange on their American Tour, forcibly undergoing a painful and graphic conversion therapy to take away their uniqueness and make them (in the eyes of their creator) "perfect".

Their finger tips and toes were dipped in acid that stripped and destroyed their finger prints, before their hands and head were wrapped in bandages. Pyg then surgically attached a porcelin dolls mask to each of their faces, removing sexual organs with a butchers knife.

They were the first living (and successful) Dollotron that Batman ever faced (having come across six dead corpses of those that Pyg deemed as being inferior and failures), walking in on Professor Pyg whilst he was making the finishing touches to them.

Strapped to the table of Pyg's operating table, the unnamed person begged for Valentin to stop the procedure, unable to take the pain anymore, whilst being driven to insanity by the loud opera music being pumped throughout the operating theatre and shop - Pretty Dolls Parlour. Screaming as Pyg made random inscissions into their flesh - testing their ability to feel pain - the villain replied that he was making them better, adding that their body is "saying thank you" with the agony. Finally succumbing to the numerous chemicals they had been forced to ingest, they thanked Pyg, before falling silent.

Confronting Valentin for the murders, Batman told him it was over, however Pyg remarked argued that he wasn't since "she" (the Dollotron) wasn't ready yet. Telling the Caped Crusader that "she" still was not perfect and still had parts that made them "unique" (and "wrong"). Picking up their limp hand and dropping it back on the table, he added that "she was all messed up" and "inside out", but would soon no longer need to worry about that once the operation was finished.

Checking their pulse, the Dollotron became frantic, attacking Batman and pushing him back. Knocking them down with relative ease, the vigilante is surprised to see them get back up, noting that they seemed to "Immune to pain". Fighting with them again, Batman managed to overpower and incapacitate them, leaving them unconscious for the police to collect with the other Dollotrons.

They were kept in the G.C.P.D holding cells, in a state of terror.

Terry Noonan - Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)

Working in the Gotham City Sewers for twenty years, Terry Noonan patrolled the tunnels cleaning up fat deposits off the walls, dealing with large rats in the foul waters below the surface of his home town.

Noonan had been interviewed by Jack Ryder in the past, going on record as he regaled the journalist with reports that he had heard chanting and preaching echoing through the tunnels as he went about his duty. He believed that the voices had belonged to the homeless people of Gotham, having been hearing them for months prior to the meeting. He noted that the chanting that he had heard had been increasing in volume, scaring him off from investigating the source for fear of getting involved with something dangerous.

Terry went missing shortly after the interview. He was eventually found by the G.C.P.D after they carried out a sweep of the sewer systems, finding him shoved into the fatty deposits.

Although his death was deemed as an accident in the eyes of the law, Ryder believed the incident to be premeditated homicide, musing on the idea that Noonan had accidentally stumbled across Blackfire and one of his sermons.

"Batman: Arkham Knight"

Whilst trying to uncover evidence of Deacon Blackfire's criminal career as a murderer on the nineteenth of October, Ryder listened to past interviews he had done about the number of homeless citizens in Gotham City. Among the compiled documents and audio recordings was his interview with Noonan, speculating that it was in fact Blackfire that was resulting in the disappearance of homeless people, rather than the city of Gotham doing it's job to help them find home, food and work.

His death was avenged by the Batman after Blackfire and his Cult were defeated and arrested on the thirty first of October, ensuring no more people died at their hands.

Mr. M. Hollis - Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)

A resident of Gotham living in a house on Hammond Close, M. Hollis was a 33 year old man, targeted by Deacon Blackfire and the Cult of Blackfire for unknown reasons. He was murdered as part of Blackfire's human sacrifices.

"Batman: Arkham Knight"

Hollis was taken hostage by Joseph "Deacon" Blackfire and the numerous disciples of his Cult, deemed by the latter to be a sinner worthy of sacrificing. Stripped of his clothing and tied down to a table, Deacon performed a ritual in front of his chanting followers, cutting his throat and draining him of his blood.

All of his clothing and "personal effects" were burned by his killers, leaving only the corpse as evidence. His blood was used to draw symbols onto the wall of the room

At some point prior to the 30th of October, members of the G.C.P.D came across Hollis' corpse in his house, setting up a crime scene to determine the cause of death and identify the killer.

At 9:00 on the evening that the body was discovered, an overview of the room and all photographic evidence was submitted by Detective Russo, which would go on to be accessed by Jack Ryder as the investigative journalist attempted to uncover the story and expose Blackfire for the criminal he was.

Deacon Blackfire - Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)

A Gotham City preacher and cult leader, Joseph Blackfire nicknamed himself "Deacon" and began working with the homeless of the city. He opened a homeless shelter called "The Deacon's Mission", which provided hot soup to those in need, personally interacting with the people he helped.

He was believed to have been living for centuries, originating from the Miagami Tribe. He was a Shaman who was accused on heresy, murdering one of the chiefs of the tribe and sentenced to death. They shot him with arrows, before leaving him to bleed to death in a cave, sealing off the entrance for ever. The cave in which he was supposedly trapped in was located beneath the earth that would go on to be the site of The Lady of Gotham.

However he used his charisma and influence to spread his message of humanity's weakness, claiming himself to be a representative of God, building up the membership of his cult with members who believed his teachings.

Telling his followers that he was an immortal being that had survived through the ages by undergoing rituals of human sacrifice - whilst bathing in the blood of victims -Blackfire tasked the Cult to find worthy candidates for his rituals. He would conduct the rituals himself, cutting their throats and draining the blood for his own nefarious perfects as he searched for the final sacrifice that could make him immortal.

In the 1920's Blackfire earned a criminal record for tax evasion and fraud, with several more reports coming through.

He believed that the people of Gotham were drowning in the sin, and branded the city as a "den of iniquity" and vice, observing them as broken and needing his teachings of the "lord" to "heal them".

"Batman: Arkham Knight"

Unaware of being watched and recorded by Jack Ryder on the fifteenth of October, Blackfire preached about the guilty and sin, expressing that their was a "pavilion of pain" for those he deemed as being "heathens". Condemning Gotham, Deacon told them that he had been shown visions of the city being destroyed in fire and its citizens burning with them. He adds that the only way that people could avoid this would be by accepting his guidance and join him, since he had supposedly been "anointed ... with his sacred oil" and was "the Messenger of Truth". For the closing part of his sermon, Blackfire declared that only he and his disciples would live in "the new kingdom" as "Princes."

At some point prior to the 30th, Blackfire performed one of his many rituals in a building looking out onto Hammond Close, killing the 33 year old M. Hollis. Whilst Hollis had been tied down on a table, Blackfire cut his throat and drained him of all his blood, using the blood to draw ruins on the wall of the room. Taking the knife with him, Deacon had all of Hollis' clothes and "personal effects" burned to cover their tracks.

On the 30th, Blackfire led his followers to the Lady of Gotham, capturing Jack Ryder there as the latter attempted to expose what Deacon had been up to. Tying Ryder up, Blackfire preached in the name of God, expressing his beliefs to the silent and praying disciples. However he is furious as Batman arrives to save Ryder, ordering his followers to kill "the devil clad in black". Watching them all defeated by the Dark Knight, he deemed them to be cowards, gloating that he would force the hero to watch as he killed Ryder and bathe in the blood. Ignoring Ryder's pleas, Blackfire moved on the reporter, only to be disarmed by Batman. He remarked that he had faced death on multiple occasions and he had faced far worse then him, adding that he will control Gotham after Batman is dead. However Batman smashed his face against a table, knocking him out.

Taking him to the G.C.P.D building, Cash met Batman and Blackfire on the roof. He ignores Cash's joke, telling Batman that the city was falling and he was protecting nothing but the weak and defenceless. Asking Batman why he was still fighting in a war he could not win, he scoffed at the suggestion that the vigilante was in control. He was then taken away to be interrogated and processed.

Whilst in the custody of the G.C.P.D, Aaron Cash took samples of Blackfire's fingerprints, locating the records from the 1920's. Due to the age of the report, he believed the findings to be a mistake. The processing procedure was completed  and he was locked in a cell, with his prayer book, goblet and knife being catalogued as part of the Evidence Room Lockup.

Visited later that evening, Blackfire boasted to Batman that he would soon escape as the bars were "unable to hold him" believing that God would use divine intervention to free him. He went on to add that he was praying for all of Gotham's citizens who he had deemed as lost, in particular making a special prayer just for Batman.

Two-Face pulled him up on the law being up to the people of Gotham to fix, but Deacon replies that the city was too far gone for the laws of man. However this sparks protests from Azrael, who claims that he was the true servant of God, only being beaten back by a proverb of the divine being "vengeance." Firefly enthusiastically offered his help to set Gotham ablaze and let Deacon start the new order. Yet Deacon shrugs the comment off, musing that "cheap pyrotechnics" did not scare or impress him.

Watching the live news broadcast from Arkham Manor, Blackfire learned with the rest of the world that Batman was really Bruce Wayne, destroying the belief that both himself and Batman could work together in order to purge all sin from Gotham. He remarks that Batman had time to "save his soul" and join him, although doubts it, telling him to "add avarice to that ever growing list of sins". He finally remarked that he could not forgive Batman for ruining his plans, however said he would "put in a good word" to God.
