Anthony Lund - Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)

Born with "minor ear agenesis", Anthony Lund was formerly married to a woman called Ophelia, but there marriage did not last, resulting in them splitting up. He was a sufferer of alcoholism, which was believed to have been caused by the divorce, seeking medical help for the condition.

In some unknown circumstance, Lund ingested the ring, which got lodged in his lower intestine. Whilst at some point close to the time of his kidnapping, Lund needed a hip replacement, successfully getting it completed.

Interested in attending The Circus of Strange in Albuquerque New Mexico, Anthony Lund was kidnapped by the ringmaster Lazlo Valentin and rounded up with at least five other kidnapped men and women.

Brought back to his operating theatre in the Pretty Dolls Parlour - located in Gotham City - Lund forcibly underwent agonising and traumatic surgery; with his kidnapper removing his sexual organs, burning his finger prints off with acid and grafting a doll's mask to his face. Realising however that he could not do anything more to make him into a uniform member of the Dollotrons, Pyg killed Lund with an overdose of painkillers, causing him to have cardiac arrest.

His body was discarded, left to be found much later by the police and the vigilante Batman.

"Batman: Arkham Knight"

Shortly before the emergency evacuation of Gotham City on the thirty first of October, members of the G.C.P.D came across the dead corpse of Anthony Lund strung up on Merchant's Bridge with the word "flawed" painted on the ground at his feet with white spray paint. Nearby was also a speaker playing loud opra music on a loop, which became part of Professor Pyg's calling card. Due to short notice of Scarecrow's chemical bomb threat, they did not have time to make serious investigations of the crime scene, however those present on the scene found it all disturbing.

Having agreed to take on the case, Batman went to the crime scene himself, learning of Lund's location from Aaron Cash at the G.C.P.D Building. Arriving at bridge, Batman extracted a sample of the corpse's blood, to determine how Lund had died.

Due to various techniques used during the conversion process, Lund's DNA was unable to be cross-referenced by the G.C.P.D, leading Batman to use the Deep Tissue Scanner function within his cowl to determine the identity through birth and medical records.

Coming across scar tissue from a recent hip replacement, a wedding ring in his lower intestine to a woman called Ophelia, and a minor birth defect on his left ear, the Dark Knight successfully narrowed down Lund's record on the Missing Person Database.
