Scarecrow - Gotham Season Four (2017)

The alter-ego of Jonathan Crane, the Scarecrow first started off being the object of Jonathan's terror, being constantly haunted by an illusion ever since being injected with the fear toxin created by his father.

Being bullied, harassed and tormented by a gang wanting to exploit his knowledge in the creation of the gas, his psyche broke down, eventually hearing the voice of the scarecrow they were using to control him speak his name. He set about starting to embrace his own fear, wanting to get revenge on the people who had locked him away and threatened him.

Scavenging around the room he was left in for supplies, Jonathan made himself a costume to embody his new persona, fitting dispensers into the suit that allowed him to use samples of the fear toxin that he had kept hidden on his person as a means of self-defence should any of the gang attempt to hurt him.

"A Dark Knight: Pax Penguina"

Following the arrest of Merton and the other members of his gang at the Iceberg Lounge opening night, Grady Harris returned to the gang's safe-house, yelling upon entering that he wanted Jonathan to produce more of the toxin so that they could break Merton out of prison.

But upon unlocking the door to Jonathan's makeshift cell, he is startled to find that the scarecrow that they had been using to intimidate the teenager was dismantled, with the garments forming a new costume for the boy to wear.

Turning on his captor, he remarked that Jonathan Crane was all but gone, demanding to be called the Scarecrow. Advancing on Grady, he doused the criminal with fear toxin, watching as his tormentor was left reeling and panicking in a small heap on the floor.

The Mutants: The Dark Multiverse Earth 52 - Batman: The Red Death (2017)

An infamous street gang operating within Gotham City, the Mutants often appeared in vast droves when Batman and the G.C.P.D were otherwise engaged.

Their members were often seen wearing black goggles with tinted red lenses, which became a identifying feature for them.

"Ride the Lightning"

After the sky above Gotham had turned blood red, the city quickly fell to riots and looting to such an extent that people suggested that the bridge was blown up and left to become a "No-Man's Land." The Mutants were among the people out in the streets taking advantage of the chaos, destroying cars and attacking fleeing citizens.

Nora Fries: The Dark Multiverse Earth 52 - Batman: The Red Death (2017)

The wife of the famous cryongenic scientist Victor Fries, Nora suffered from a fatal disease that was slowly killing her.

As a last resort, Victor developed a cryostatsis formula, which he used on Nora to put her body in a for of suspended animation until he could find a cure for her.

Through the manipulation of the formula's cryogenic properties, she was still alive during the end of the Batman and the birth of Red Death.

Fries' Cryostasis Formula: The Dark Multiverse Earth 52 - Batman: The Red Death (2017)

A formula developed by the scientist Victor Fries, the cryostatis formula was primarily used to keep his wife Nora alive and stop her from succumbing to the fatal disease that was slowly killing her. The formula encased the localised area where the injection was made in ice, before moving up the body, lowering the heart rate of the patient to the point of mirroring suspended animation.

Batman discovered the existence of the formula and managed to procure a sample through unknown means, keeping it with him as a potential weapon to use against his enemies - or Speedsters.

"Ride the Lightning"

In an effort to incapacitate the Flash and siphon off the Speed Force into his own body, Batman injected Barry in the leg with a sample of the formula, calculating that his increased metabolism would be able to burn through the formula within three seconds.

However he went on to declare that he would not need them, punching his friend so hard in the face that it would knock him out.

Kid Apollo - Gen13 (2006)

A member of the Authoriteens, Kid Apollo was a meta-human with the ability of flight, super-speed, super-strength and projection of energy. Growing up, he had no mentors or other adults to help him control his abilities, forcing him to learn the limits of his power - since the reality in which the Authoriteens originated from was a world without any grownups.

He formed a deep friendship with fellow Authoriteen Daybreaker, with many of his teammates claiming that he was "overprotective" of the latter, though had no idea why this was. Kid Apollo developed a disgust of the female body, as well as having a  very rigid belief in what made someone a man, viewing anything out of this as being wrong and a perversion.

"Road Trip, Part Three: Club Kids - Fire and Wind"

Kid Apollo listened to Daybreaker and the Contractor in silence as The Authoriteens watched a clash between Gen13
and Liberty Snots.

"Road Trip, Part Three: Club Kids - Battle of the Band of Brothers"

Entering the battlefield, he hovered over his fellow teammates, glaring at both parties as Daybreaker explained their mission to the two baffled rivals.

When the team was questioned by M-T about the exact nature of their device, Kid Apollo mockingly told the latter that what was happening had nothing to do with him, referring to him as "shortstuff." He suggested in a patronising tone that M-T should go back to his house to "floss and drink plenty of milk." Upon being told to "die screaming" from "fucking himself", Kid Apollo angrily attacked the Liberty Snots with an energy blast, ordering them to run away or else die.

Fighting alongside his teammates, he stated that he had had "enough," confronting both Rainmaker and Freefall. Fairchild stepped in to aid them, however he broke through their attack and threw Caitlin into the ground. Incapacitating her, he demanded to know who was going to be his new opponent.

Picking up Burnout from a great height, he dropped the young hero and sent him plummeting to the ground, returning to join the assembled group.

"Road Trip, Part Five: Club Kids - Left of Centre"

Lifting Burnout up by the back of his t-shirt, Kid Apollo prepared to throw him into their "matter decompressor," however stood back to allow Daybreaker and Nestling to use the device first on Grunge. He is horrified when Grunge starts bleeding from his eyes, praying to heavens in fear. He was also highly embarrassed when the latter had formed a pair of breasts, seeking comfort from Daybreaker, who told him that he would forget he ever saw them if he pushed Grunge into the device. He eagerly does so, calling Grunge a "freak" and adding that it would be a "merciful" act. However he is blasted backwards by a sonic cry from Sweet Sally, who had returned with the rest of Liberty Snots to aid them - on the insistence of M-T.

As he got back up, Kid Apollo expressed his confusion and insecurity about masculinity - unable to cope with Sweet Sally's androgyny - questioning aloud his own ignorant indignation on whether they "know that boys are boys." Continuing his assault on Grunge, he grabbed him by the throat and coldly told him that he was going to die, referring to him as a "sissy." However before he could kill Grundge, he is attacked from behind by Fairchild.

Seeing Daybreaker being attacked by Mangacide, he angrily declared that they would forget the matter decomposer and instead just kill all who opposed them. Focusing on Magnacide, he released an energy blast at her, knocking his opponent to the ground as he declared that their deaths "were for your own good."

However Grunge punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground, where he angrily snapped that
he had got covered in mud. He furiously called Grunge a "stuck-up little gnat" and mockingly asked if he really thought the power he absorbed from Fairchild was enough for the Gen13 member to beat him. He is terrified to learn that in fact he had been touched with pure energy from the decomposer, beginning to crumble into a skeleton before their eyes.

Daybreaker - Gen13 (2006)

The alias of a teenager called Denny, Daybreaker grew up in a reality where no adults resided. He often spoke using slang from his world, which would not be make sense to many inhabitants across the rest of
the mulitverse.

Daybreaker was a meta-human with the ability to predict the events of battle and simulate every conceivable outcome before it actually happened. He was also a highly trained fighter both in hand to hand combat and with his bow staff.

Upon joining the Authoriteens, he became friends with Kid Apollo, who would always look out for him. He had very strong feelings for Kid Apollo, as well as harbouring deeply inset misogynistic views on women and their bodies.

"Road Trip, Part Three: Club Kids - Fire and Wind"

Watching from the shadows of a tree as Gen13 fought with the Liberty Snots, Daybreaker mused to Contractor that their targets were the team who were not fighting all in black clothing. He went on to tell them that he had used his powers of precognition in combat to perceive every possible outcome in their upcoming battle with the Gen13 team - seeing it as the only way to stop the destruction of the Multiverse. He added that everything will "turn out groovy."

"Road Trip, Part Three: Club Kids - Battle of the Band of Brothers"

Approaching the two teams, he addressed the assembled meta-humans and introduced the young Authoriteens, explaining that they were preventing the whole Multiverse from exploding. He goes on to ask if they were going to "rap, cats and kittens, dig," confusing Sweet Sally and the others, forcing the Intern to interpret what he was saying. He goes on to declare that the Gen13 were travellers who did not belong there and needed to be destroyed to stop the ripple effect that was putting reality itself in danger. He childishly laughed at the Interns use of the word "ripple" and it's closeness to the world nipple, wiping away a tear of joy as he told the latter that he was the bad one. Expressing his desire not to fight with them, he mocks the Intern for repeating the word "ripple" and using it in the presence of a girl - something Intern had told him off for.

As Nestler kissed M-T on the cheek as he left, he made a quiet remark about her, before clenching his fist with excitement as Fairchild told them that they would fight. He ordered the team to attack, arrogantly declaring that their was no way that Fairchild (mocking her for her ginger hair) could beat him, but was interrupted by a punch in the face that sent him flying backwards. As he hurtled towards an abandoned basket ball court, he scolded himself for not using his powers to run through the battle "a thousand more times" to predict such a move.

Returning to the field, Daybreaker declared that the team had almost won the battle, helping them knock the rest of Gen13 out.

"Road Trip, Part Five: Club Kids - Left of Centre"

Helping Nestler drag Grunge, he told the defeated opponent that he would feel better when he was dead, although noted that what he said sounded better in his head than what was verbalised. He went on with his point, stating that Grunge shouldn't think that what he was doing was suicide, but instead that he was saving the multiverse and would retcon all the events that had been altered by the Gen13's existence. He was grossed out by Grunge's final request for a kiss, commenting that "girls had cooties", before telling Nestling that he had not been meaning any offence to her. However he expressed no harm in permitting the request, childishly making retching noises as Grunge kissed Fairchild. Hearing the Contractor's warning, he tried to pull the two part, only to beaten back by Grunge who had absorbed some of Caitlin's powers from the kiss.

Comforting the embarrassed Kid Apollo about seeing a pair of breasts, which had formed on Grunge's body from using his absorbing powers on Caitlin, he told his friend that he could forget that he ever saw them by pushing Grunge through the matter decompressor.

Watching Kid Apollo get punched into the ground, he remarked that the young teen did not like that. However he is more alarmed by the revelation that Grunge had absorbed the power of the matter decompressor and used it to reduce Kid Apollo into a pile of bones, watching his friend die in silent despair.

"Road Trip, Part Six: Club Kids"

Enraged by the death of his friend, Daybreaker attacked Fairchild with his bow staff, screaming at her and calling her names. But he is quickly subdued, crying over the death of Kid Apollo. Seeing the arrival of the Tranquillity police force, the Authoriteens all return back to their own reality, having failed to complete their mission.

Nora Fries - Flashpoint: Citizen Cold (2011)

The wife of the famous scientist Victor Fries, Nora was happily married to her husband. However at some point contracted an illness that led to her health growing worse. In an effort to prevent her from dying, Victor Fries began to use his scientific knowledge to develop a cure, only for an experiment to go wrong and drastically alter his physiology.

Her condition finally reached critical, forcing Victor to turn to crime - as Mr. Freeze - to find the cure, listening out for any little rumour he could act upon in his mission.

Because Captain Cold killed Freeze in Central City, Nora's illness went untreated and she later died, with the supposed hero mocking Victor about her already being dead.

Mr. Freeze - Flashpoint: Citizen Cold (2011)

Formerly a scientist named Victor Fries, Freeze became a criminal in a desperate attempt to save his wife Nora from dying from an unknown illness.

At some point in his life, his underwent an incident that caused his body to eventually deteriorated to the point that only his head and mind were functioning.

Freeze developed a suit that allowed him to operate in temperatures above freezing, as well as creating numerous weapons that had the power to encase a target in solid ice. His technology utilised similar properties to that of cryogenic preservation.

Freeze was an old friend of Neil Boreman (The Rogue known as Fallout) and promised him that once he had found the cure for Nora's illness, he would help Boreman to rid him off his radioactive powers, so that he could be reunited with his wife and children.

"Cold-Hearted"

Having heard rumours of the technology he needed to use to save Nora's life being located at the Central City branch of S.T.A.R Labs, Mr. Freeze attacked the facility, only to discover that it had been a set up. Blasting through the wall, he angrily snapped that he did not like being "lied to."

Yelling at panicking citizens to move aside for him, he was confronted by Citizen Cold. He remarked that he did not have time to face the so-called hero, unleashing an ice beam from his gun. However he was hit by Cold's duel wielding ice pistols, sealing his suit in solid ice and screaming in pain. Observing the people chanting for their hero, he declared that Cold was little more than a "sanctimonious fraud," before detaching his helmet from the rest of his armour and scuttling away on robotic legs.

Knocking one of the pistols from his hand, Freeze demanded that Cold left him alone, attempting to escape in the chaos of a van crash. However Cold caught up to him, putting pressure on the casing as the hero boasted that he was the one who had snared the trap for Victor, adding to the distraught husband that Nora would be dead. He was unable to protect himself from Cold's killing shot, ending his life - with the latter claiming that "dyin' for love is the dumbest reason."

The Unfinished Red Tornado Unit - Flashpoint: The World of Flashpoint (2011)

The last Red Tornado unit created by Thomas Oscar Morrow, he was built like the others to protect Japan from the fall of civilisation that was spreading across the globe. However before his programming could be completed, Morrow died, leaving him incomplete.

Waiting in Morrow's laboratory, he was unable to recognise or understand that his creator was deceased. Remaining on his own for an unknown period of time, he declared that once his programming was complete, he would stand by his brothers and fulfil the primary purpose that Morrow had commissioned them for.

After detecting Traci Thirteen's arrival to Morrow's Tokyo lab, Red Tornado warned her to "halt" and identify herself, threatening to kill her if she did not do as he commanded. Hearing that she was looking for "a Hermit" (taken from Madame Xanadu's tarot cards), he began to recite the meaning of the word, listing both meanings - both a recluse and a "molasses cookie" - to the confused girl. When asked if he was the one she was looking for, he replied that he was nothing more than a "guardian" waiting to be enlisted into the ranks of the Red Tornadoes.

He told the young magician that Morrow would have wanted him to be of help to her, asking her to wake the doctor up for him, so that he could finish his programming and allow him to accompany her across the world in her mission to stop the H.I.V.E Satellite. Directing her to his creator's wheelchair, he could not process Morrow's death, stating that he wanted to help her and needed to be completed. Traci sadly told him that despite his wishes, the unit was not capable of helping her, teleporting away and leaving him to grieve.

Dr. Thomas Oscar Morrow - Flashpoint: The World of Flashpoint (2011)

A scientist responsible for the creation of the Red Tornadoes, Doctor Thomas Oscar Morrow was contracted by the Japanese government to produce an army of androids that could be used to protect Japan during a time of uncertainty and war. Using his intellect in the field of robotics, he programmed them to fulfil one specific task - to ensure the safety of the nation by any means necessary.

Operating out of a laboratory in Tokyo, Thomas began working on another unit of the Tornadoes, however died before he could complete the project.

"This is the World we Made"

In search of a way to protect the world from her father and the Hive Council's satellite, Traci Thirteen used her magic powers to transport her to the embodiment of "the Hermit" tarot card, only to come across his skeleton propped up in a wheelchair. His latest Red Tornado Unit was unable to perceive him as being dead, insisting that he was alive and merely sleeping.

The Red Tornadoes - Flashpoint: The World of Flashpoint (2011)

Conceptualised and produced by Dr. Thomas Oscar Morrow, The Red Tornadoes were a defence project commissioned by the Japanese Government to protect Japan from being attacked, following a breakdown in geo-political relations between nations in the wake of the Atlantean/Amazon war.

Not only were they programmed to enact lethal force against any act seen as a threat for national security, the Tornadoes were a public deterrent. Many units were created and distributed across the country, with one of their main production sites being based in Tokyo. There single function is to protect their assigned country.

However during the manufacturing of one of the units, the creator died.

It was never revealed if any more units were crafted. The lone unit referred to them as his "brothers", though it was not made clear if all templates of the Red Tornado unit were designated as being male.

Each unit floated above the city, monitoring the world from the sky.

Ocean Master - Flashpoint: Deathstroke & The Curse of the Ravager (2011)

Having sunken the entire of Western Europe, Ocean Master and Emperor Aquaman took over the flooded countries, defending them against any other ships or surface-dwellers as they planned to get their revenge on Wonder Woman and the Amazons, who escaped from the complete destruction of the deluge.

Among these command posts, the pair took up residency in the Eiffel Tower. He was partly responsible for the destruction of the Warlord's main fleet and ship - leaving them as a warning for any sailor foolish enough to enter their conquered terrain.

Although Aquaman tried to sue for peace and regretted his actions, Ocean Master constantly warned him of the threat that humans posed to Atlantis and their culture and called for violence at any opportunity.

At some point he had heard of the reputation of the infamous Deathstroke and his pirate crew.

"Separation Anxiety"

Looking out across Paris through a pair of binoculars, Orm pointed out the Ravager to his half-brother, musing about how they had not witnessed the destruction they wrought to the Warlord's fleet. He expressed his opinion that the crew were nothing but "misfit{s}."

Following in pursuit of Aquaman, he dived into the ocean, swimming at full pelt through the waves and boarding the lone ship. On his King's instructions, he set about to attack each member and kill them one by one.

"Red Tide"

He coldly told Emperor Aquaman that their war would be over when every "surface dweller" was dead, jumping over Clayface and clashing with the Tattooed Man. His opponent tried to use his body art animation - in the form of serpents - to defend himself from the prince, but Ocean Master speared him with his trident and pinning him violently against the wall, calling him "little man" who should have headed the actions of several members of the crew and abandoned the doomed vessel.

As he retrieved his weapon from the deceased Tattooed Man, he watched Aquaman kill the Scavenger. Using the weakness to the Ravager as an advantage, Orm sent Icicle - frozen in a block of his own ice for protection - crashing through the floor and into the bowls of the ship, before turning his attention to the Eel. Knocking him back, he was about to kill Deathstroke when he was called off by Aquaman, who remarked that they had more important things to do than concern themselves with them. Kicking the captain in the face, he mockingly named them "scraps" as they dived into the ocean and swam away.

Ocean Master - Flashpoint (2011)

The Prince of Atlantis, Orm was nicknamed the Ocean Master and was the half-brother of King Orin, Emperor Aquaman.

Upon Orin's use of the Geo-pulse that sunk Western Europe, he accompanied Orin through the flooded streets and helped inspect their new territory.

"Flashpoint Chapter Two"

Ocean Master joined Emperor Aquaman in his attack on the Ravager as the ship sailed through the ruins of Paris, boarding the vessel and startling Deathstroke and his crew. Answering Orin's command, he set about attacking them all, promising his lord liege to leave none of them alive.

The Question - Flashpoint: Deadman and the Flying Graysons (2011)

The alias of Charles Victor Szasz (later Victor Sage), The Question was one one of many costumed individuals who decided to take up arms against the Atlanteans and Amazons, in the hope they can bring peace to war torn world.

Acting as backup to Britannia and Kid Devil, the Question travelled to Poland to reinforce Vertigo as he attempted to locate the Helmet of Fate and ensure it did not fall into the hands of the Amazons. However by the time their jet arrived in the outskirts of Kalisz, the city had been put to the torch and Vertigo was killed.

"Death of the Family"

The Question and the others ran into Dick Grayson, who was the sole survivor of the attack on the city and the new owner of the Helmet. He watched in silence as he introduced himself to Britannia as Dr. Fate, telling her that he was a member of the Resistance and responsible for killing the Amazons and Female Furies' responsible for destroying Kalisz - among their ranks was the Tamaranean Starfire.

Garth - Flashpoint: Wonder Woman and the Furies (2011)

An Atlantean in the court of King Orin of Atlantis,  Garth was made the monarch's ward, training with him and living with the royal family.

In 1997,  Garth was among the royal delegation invited by Queen Hippolyta to Themyscira to create a pact between the two great nations. However he engaged in battle with the Amazons on the beach, after Artemis and  Penthesilea attacked Orin - stating that they thought they had captured Princess Diana and were using her as a political hostage for war.

Later in court, Garth humbly apologised before the Amazonian court for his participation in the fight, with Prince Orm speaking on his behalf on the subject with the excuse that both were defending themselves against an unprovoked attack and were acting on the rumours of old - that Amazons were supposedly "ruthless" killers. He witnessed the betrothal announcement between King Orin and Princess Diana.

Again accompanying Orin back to Themyscira for the Royal Wedding in 2010, Garth was supposed to stand with Orin and Orm as part of the groom's consort. However he woke up on the morning of the wedding to find that his armour had gone missing. When Garth did not turn up, Orin angrily told Orm that he was disappointed that Garth was unable to show his face, stating that he was unable to see through prejudice in order for there to be peace between Themyscira and Atlantis.

Going off to search for it, he walked in on Artemis just as she hurled his stolen trident at Princess Diana - however the Queen protected her mother and took the weapon herself, killing her instantly. Attacking Artemis, he stated his surprise and shock at her treachery against her people, however she retaliated by the fact that he was no soldier if he had to ask why she was doing this - in her eyes being for the good of Themyscira, aiding Penthesilia and Orm's plot to stop the union at any cost. Knocking him out as she boasted the ease of the plan surpassing the expectations of Orm, he was dressed in his armour and chucked from the balcony, while Artemis triumphantly told them that she had caught the"assassin." As Garth tried to tell Orin about the plot, Penthesilea silenced him with his own trident, branding him a "murderer."

Prince Orm tried to use Garth's death as a means to push fighting between the two nations. However Orin decided to try and make peace with the Amazons, which was once again sabotaged by the plotters, leading to all out war - with one side wanting to take any advantage or victory over the other.

It was only after there was no chance that the two armies could repair ties, did Diana learn the truth of the plot and Garth's innocence. However Orin would not end the war since she had killed Mera - securing that only the one who would survive single combat would be the winner.

Garth - Flashpoint: Emperor Aquaman (2011)

The ward to King Orin, Garth died in disgrace, believed to be a traitor and Atlantean assassin, responsible for killing Queen Hippolyta at the wedding ceremony of her daughter Princess Diana and his liege lord. Both deaths helped start the war that would end up consuming so much of the world, in blood, death and seawater.

"Emperor Aquaman Part Three"

Having caught her aunt Penthesilea kissing Prince Orm of Atlantis in her seat of power at Buckingham Palace, Diana realised her mistake about the war, for the first time questioning Garth's innocence to the crime of regicide.

However too much blood had been spilt and before the two sides could at least reconcile, Orm triggered the final act that led to the full scale invasion of New Themyscira.

Deathstroke - Flashpoint: Deathstroke and the Curse of the Ravager (2011)

Wanting to get rich off all of the money and gold that had been left unprotected due to the Atlantean/Amazon war, Deathstroke (the alias of Slade Wilson) took up piracy, choosing to remain neutral and go about his own business. He formed a crew with friends and several criminals including; Briggs, Hanscar, and Icicle (who he had bitter resentment for).

He was the captain of the Ravager and
renowned for being a cold-blooded killer, that was one of the most dangerous and feared pirates in all of the "seven seas." He did this by memorising and mastering the stratagems and schematics of the pirate crews and their ships, exploiting every possible weakness or outcome.

Forming a rivalry with the Warlord - who he had formed a begrudging respect for, - Deathstroke began pursuing him and his war fleet, leading an assault on the Skartaris. Calling for all hands to his deck, he declared that if Warlord was personally manning his second vessel in command, it would have to be full of treasure.

Opening fire on the ship with a mounted turret gun, he ordered Briggs and the rest of his men to dock the Skartaris and finish them, having first ascertained through Brigg's twin sister (who co-inhabits his body due to his meta-human abilities) that the ship was carrying a woman frozen in suspended animation. Drawing his blade, he fought with Warlord, telling the captain that he desired the cargo he was transporting.

Acting as a distraction for the rest of his crew, Slade took several cuts, before finally smashing Warlord in the face with the retort that from the position he was in, he was going to be the victor. Stabbing his opponent through the arm, he ordered his crew to make a full retreat now they had their "hostage", yelling triumphantly that they would face another day.  To make sure that Warlord did not follow them, he ordered Icicle to freeze the Skartaris in a block of ice. He mused that, although the battle had finished earlier than he had wanted it to, they had achieved their objective. Watching as Warlord retreated, he proudly stated that he would enjoy the greatest challenge of all, storming Travis Morgan's lead ship the Tara.

Letting his crew celebrate their victory and torture their prisoner, he descended down below to examine the statis pod, maddened by the revelation that the girl inside was not his daughter Rose, but instead was Jenny Blitz. Discovering her name and abilities from the pod's recorded data, he questioned whether she was related to the meta-human the Human Bomb, since they both shared similar powers.

Interrupted by the arrival of the prisoner, he demanded to know where his daughter was, coldly telling the belligerent man that he had no plans in killing him. Instead Slade remarked that he would put him through such physical and mental torture to get the required information, that eventually he would be begging to die. Dismissing his crew, he begins the process, drawing a huge amount of blood that spattered across the round window embedded into the door.

Returning to the deck with the prisoner, who has been severely beaten and missing all of his fingers, Deathstroke overheard his men talking about needing more crew members, agreeing with them in their assessment of the situation. Giving his dead men a final farewell, he commanded them to be thrown to the sea, honouring them with a minute of silence.

Having gathered the whereabouts of Rose and a place to find a new crew from the hostage, Slade told his men to start making the repairs to the Ravager, while he planned their next move in his cabin. Before he left, he ordered them to investigate Saint Helena.

Having showered, he mused over how his life had turned out, vowing to find Rose and bring her back to him as he stared at a framed photograph of her. He also swore vengeance to all the people who had been involved.

Landing off the coast of a prison, he entrusted care of the Ravager to Hanschel, threatening to kill him if anything happened. Leading a small part via motor boat, he cut through the guards and reached the command room, demanding to know where Rose was. However he learned that he had arrived too late, with her being transferred a few days earlier to a meta-human laboratory in Norway. Throwing the interrogated guard into the computer system, he told his men to kill the guards while he gathered those in cell block 7, promising to "make them an offer they can not refuse."

Addressing all of the captives, Deathstroke declared that he was offering them a one-time offer to join his crew and become legends. Demanding loyalty, he warned them that joining him would have many risks and difficulties, but they would profit from the war as they moved through the sunken Western Europe.

As he had expected, every meta-human within the block accepted the offer. As they were leaving Clayface told him of a prisoner who would be a useful asset for robbing banks and cities underwater. Tasking with his new crew to blow up the guard boats whilst they went to solitary confinement to recruit Sonar. However when they reached the secure area of the prison they find only Eel, who remarked that they had missed Sonar, who had been taken on a ship called the Maafa. Hearing his pleas to join the crew of the Ravager, Deathstroke shot his containment cell, but warned him that he would kill him if he thought about betraying them - having been apart of a hostage trade involving Sonar a few hours before Slade's ambush.

Locating the Maafa, Deathstroke peacefully approached and used his charm to secure Sonar without any bloodshed, allowing Captain Colins and his crew to sail away after business was concluded. Telling their new prisoner that he was to be their property now, he snapped at Eel to stop electrocuting Wlladon. Hearing the defiance in his voice, Slade remarked they were "bold words", ordering their newest crew member to be taken below, before continuing north. Fully aware that his crew were not to be trusted, he continued with his mission to be with Rose.

Whilst staring at the pod in his cabin, he allowed one of his men to enter, warning them that they had better be prepared for entering "marked water".

Entering Paris the next day, Deathstroke did not realise they had been spotted by Ocean Master and Emperor Aquaman from the remnants of the Eiffel Tower - his reputation going so far as to be known by the ruling figures of Atlantis. Before he can do anything to react the Ravager was boarded and Aquaman stabbed him through the chest with his trident, declaring that the two of them would kill them, demanding that Ocean Master left no survivors.

Although he had a meta-human ability that rapidly healed his body, the wound from the trident left him lightheaded and weak, forced to watch as Machiste is decapitated by his own axe. As the battle gets worse, Eel tried to help him , however Ocean Master attacked him and beat him back. Prince Orm attacked Slade, knocking him unconscious as he silently begged for Rose's forgiveness.

Stirring hours later, he was diagnosed with a filing heart and torn insides, yet still alive. Having been ordered by Briggs to shock him with enough of a charge to get the organ working again, Eel used his abilities to resuscitate Slade. Coming round, he groggily asked what had happened before screaming in agony. With Sonar determining that he had a piece of the trident embedded deep within his pulmonary artery, Deathstroke agreed to making Wlladon second in command if he could save his life - barking at him to just get on with it and do what needed to be done. As soon as the magical fragment of the trident was removed, Slade's healing powers returned, quickly regaining his strength.

Ordering for Briggs to set about putting out the fires and clearing the deck of blood, he agreed with Icicle's suggestion to honour the fallen crew members and bury them at sea with all of their treasures. Pulling Sonar aside, he promised he would not treat him like a servant anymore, valuing him as a respected member of the crew who had just saved his life. Understanding the necessity to make a retreat to unoccupied water, he dismissed Sonar's report that they were directly above the Louve, telling his new second in command that they would live today and get revenge on the Atlanteans in the future. Calling for them to get ready to sail to Norway after they have buried their fallen, he mused that there was a far
more valuable treasure that he coveted.

Realising that his crew had very low morale and the Ravager was barely running, he tried his best to carry on. Yet they were set upon by Warlord, who blasted the ship and demanded that he surrendered, waiting for an answer. In response, Slade shot him in the eye with a sniper rifle, which he joked was a miss, since he was "aiming for his mouth." He is suddenly shocked by the pursuing ships exploding, turning to hear Jenny Blitz declare it was her - her capsule being taken off statis by the Atlantean royal ambush - and that she would be taking over the position of Captain.

Taking her to his chambers, he demanded to know everything he could about her, which she replied she would reveal after she had washed the cryo-chemicals from her body. As she showered, he explained that she had been in the possession of Warlord until they saved her, adding that she seemingly destroyed his entire fleet. He viewed his death to be far from honourable, but shrugged it off, getting an argument with her over whose ship the Ravager was. He told Jenny that, as much as he wanted to drop her off and eave her, he still needed her to save his daughter. Surprising her with this answer, he passionately kissed her, cutting her off as she questioned him on her reward for helping him fulfil his wish. She slapped him across the face, marking that he was old enough to be her father, however he wondered why that was such an issue. He promised to give her his half of the treasure in exchange for her help in rescuing Rose.

Forming a sexual relationship with Jenny, Slade was interrupted during sex by Brigg's ghostly spirit twin sister, who reported both her brother and Hanscarl's death at the hands of the Ravager crew and their mutiny. Paying his respect to her loyal brother, he listened to her findings, consoling the dying spirit as she began fading to the afterlife - unable to keep a physical form in the world now that her host was gone.

Taking up his costume and guns, both he and Jenny killed the two crew members attempting to assassinate them in his chamber. Moving through the ship, the two hunted down the mutineers. But he told Jenny that he would kill the main conspirators himself as they were his crew, stabbing Eel through the chest as he told the convict that he had given him freedom and repaid him with treachery.

Reaching the deck, he cut through all who tried to attack, giving Jenny permission to avenge Briggs and kill Icicle in the most painful way she can. With Sonar the only one alive, Deathstroke followed Jenny's advice and put his earplugs in. Shooting his enemy in the leg, Slade cut his throat, leaving him alive long enough to hear him brag about his deal with the Caretaker. Remarking that should "go to Hell," Slade shot him in the head.

Taking the wheel, he grew furious at the Caretaker using Rose as a hostage, realising that the only way he could get her back was to exchange Jenny in his place - who had been empowered by the Caretaker. Using a seditive to knock her out, he prepared to confront his new enemy.

Placing Jenny back in her pod, they boarded the Caretaker's ship, successfully completing the exchange. Greeting Rose, he asked her to take the Ravager away from the scene, following the instructions that she had left in the bridge. He remarked that he did not know why he wanted Jenny, labelling her a dangerous "maniac." Held at gunpoint, he added that he was worth so much more alive than Rose was, allowing her safe passage, before they could turn weapons on her. He yelled at her to leave him and save herself.

Cursing them for using his daughter as a bargaining chip, Deathstroke set off a controlled explosion that released Jenny from her pod, calmly telling him the Caretaker that he was wrong for believing he would use an explosion to kill himself. Cutting Jenny off as she tried to question his actions, he told her that he would answer all her questions, as long as she attacked the other members of the fleet.

Taking a gunshot wound to the leg, he hurled a grenade at a box of explosives, blinded by his desire to get revenge upon the man who had tortured Rose. The entire ship is destroyed and he is sent crashing into the water, desiring the forgiveness of both Jenny and Rose for his failure.

"Separation Anxiety"

Deathstroke was left floating in the burning wreckage of the Caretaker's destroyed ruins, still clutching the grenade pin in his hand. He eventually passed out from blood loss and exertion, giving up hope for ever being rescued. He mused that although
he was as good as dead, he still had a tale that historians would want to study.

"The Treasure"

When he eventually came round, he had learned that Rose had doubled back and pulled both himself and Jenny from the water. Trying to apologise to Jenny for his actions, she told him that she completely understood, thanking him for his part in killing the Caretaker, but also forcing him to promise to never try and use her as a weapon again.

Hugging Rose close to him, he swore that he would never leave her alone or defenceless again, setting sail in the Ravager together into the sunset.

Deathstroke - Flashpoint (2011)

Taking advantage of the Atlantean's tidal wave that sunk a large portion of Europe, Deathstroke (Slade Wilson) formed a pirate crew made up of meta-humans, stealing a vessel and using it to plunder stolen banks and museums.

He was respected and feared by his crew, with a long enmity with a rival pirate captain The Warlord.

"Flashpoint Chapter Two"

Sailing his boat through the flooded city of Paris, Deathstroke contacted Eel below deck, demanding to know what Sonar was able to see using his powers of echolocation. When he heard that his tortured crew member was unable to detect anything other than "white blobs", he ordered Eel to electrocute him again.

He was called over by Machiste, who pointed out several ships in the distance. Getting closer, he recognised the flag to be that of the Warlord, demanding that Icicle be on hand to assist them if Plasmus was aboard. However he was horrified by the sight of the destroyed ships and floating bodies, commenting to Clayface that they - just like Morgan's crew - had sailed too far into Europe, now the territory of Emperor Aquaman and his Atlanteans.

Yelling for the crew to prepare to turn the ship around, the craft is suddenly thrown up by a wave, sending him crashing him against the side rail, as Aquaman and Ocean Master board and attack them. He was told that although Deathstroke was not a spy working for the Amazons, the Atlanteans would ensure that none of his crew survived their encounter.

Jimmy Olsen - Flashpoint: Lois Lane and the Resistance (2011)

An undercover agent working for the Detroit hero Cyborg, Jimmy Olsen was personally tasked with crossing the world and seeing what impact the Atlantean/Amazon war had on neutral nations, using his camera to upload all his findings directly to the National Security Adviser to the U.S.A.

He was given a special camera that had been designed and developed by Cyborg, which was made with a smart metal that could change it's shape when necessary to conceal itself for different espionage tasks.

In his job infiltrating the Daily Planet, he pretended to be a crude and comical photographer, making friends with fellow reporter Lois Lane. He was often partnered with her for jobs.

In his last mission, Jimmy was to make contact with a Resistance cell within New Themyscira (formerly the United Kingdom) and plan extraction for them with their findings about the Amazon forces.

"Breaking News"

Attending a fashion show at the Montmatre Hotel in Paris as Lois Lane's camera man, Jimmy fetched them both a bottle of champagne and two glasses, whilst the irate journalist tried to determine why they were reporting about clothing when the whole planet was preparing for a World War between the Amazons and Atlanteans. He made an inappropriate comment to her, which she pulled him up on before stating that they needed to get to work.

Following her outside to get some air, he jokingly mused that "a knife-cut fringe" could cut the obsession and vanity of many of the runway models present at the event, making Lois laugh. However he is startled by an earthquake that shakes across the whole of France, asking "Miss Lane" if she could feel the tremors too as glass from the building shatter around them. Avoiding being crushed by the rubble the two escape the scene. Yet Jimmy stops to take several photos, angering her partner, who is more concerned with getting away with her life.

Helping a women get her kids to higher ground, they just manage to get inside the church of Sacre Coeur when a tidal wave crashes through the city. Yelling at Lois to get to safety and not look back, he saw that
an old man had fallen and was struggling to get back up. Giving her both his camera and the mother's baby - who he had been holding whilst she got hold of her other two children - Jimmy ran back to help the man, however both were caught in the tsunami and died.

Learning about his mission, Lois demanded that Cyborg allow her to honour his memory and take his place as a member of the Resistance, so that her friend did not die in vain.

Madame Xanadu - Flashpoint: The World of Flashpoint (2011)

A fortune teller working from a store in New York City, Madame Xanadu is the alias of Nimue Inwudu, an elderly blind lady with strong affinity to the arcane arts. She plied her trade, predicting the future to paying customs through the medium of crystal balls, palm reading and tarot cards. She was a friend of Traci Thirteen and her mother Meihui Lan.

She acted as Traci's mentor with magic, teaching her how to use tarot cards to not only predict the future, but to teleport her to such events.

She was the sister to Morgana (Morgaine le Fey), fighting her in a magical battle which resulted in her loss. The strain of the duel impacted heavily on her life, causing her to slowly die. She had been living for around one thousand years.

"This is the World we Live In"

Greeting Traci Thirteen as she entered her emporium, she wondered if the teenager had had another fight with her father, remarking that the only time she did come to visit was when the remaining thirteen family were arguing, referring to herself as an "old crone." Flattered by her words, she dismissed Traci's optimism about her living a long life, explaining the consequences of her battle with Morgana.

Sympathising with Traci, Xanandu asked what she had been thinking about, listening as the former expressed her fears that the world was going to hell with no one there to save it. Reassuring them that their were - no matter "hard to find" - she used her crystal ball to project images of the Second World War, the arrival of an alien being that destroyed Metropolis, and the assassination that ended the union of Atlantis and Themyscira before it could happen. She added that there was too much conflict in the world for their to be any more between Traci and her father. Receiving a hug from the fifteen year old, she told her to go back home and make up with Doctor Thirteen, expressing her belief that she had been given much wisdom over the course of her lifetime.

Wishing her friend farewell, she began to bleed from her eyes, flipping over a face down tarot to reveal it to be the Death. Sensing what she had just picked, she mused that "the end is at hand."

"This is the World we Made"

Arriving back in New York, she was found by Traci dying on the floor of her parlour to the young girl's shock and despair. Inwudu begged her not to speak so loud, jokingly stating that her immortality had run out, seeing "Death staring back" from the future. She comforted the begging youth, telling her that she has no clue how powerful her magic actually was, adding that she was "connected to the Earth." However she went on to remind her that no Homo Magi or alien was capable of cheating the natural progression of life. When asked why she had not tried to change the future upon seeing her own demise, she noted that the future can change without warning, a fact that both she and Meihui had accepted.

As a final request, she ordered Traci to stand against her father and ensure he and the H.I.V.E Council did not use the laser from the orbital satellite to destroy both New Themyscira and Atlantis. In her final gasps of breath, she declared that Traci was strong enough to do anything she put her mind to, both in this reality and others. Pointing her to the tarot card of "The Hermit" she added that Traci take up the cards and use them to learn a fresh perspective of the world, one in which she might be able to use to dissuade her father from slaughtering millions. She died in Traci's arms moments later.
